- Member of the organizing committee of WETICE 2009 which was held in Groningen, Netherlands.
- Participated in the Ober Seminar which was held in Freiburg, Germany from the 7th till 10th of April 2008. In this seminar researchers, students, and guests of the AI and Distributed Systems group report on their current research.
- Committee member of the IADIS international conference on applied computing 2008, which is going to be held this year in Algarve, Portugal. It aims to address the main issues of concern within the applied computing area and related fields. This conference covers essentialy technical aspects.
- Participated in the BPESCO PhD School which was held in Copenhagen, Denmark from the 16th till 19th of october 2007. This 4 day PhD school is aimed at PhD-students and young researchers in Computer Science, working on formal models and/or the interplay between theory and practice of workflow management, business process execution and service oriented computing.
